Police Confirm Family Members Abducted In Bwari Village

The FCT Police Command has confirmed an attack on a residence in Ushafa community of Bwari Area Council, FCT.

Recall that there was a report of a family invasion and sporadic shooting in the early hours of Wednesday.

They opened fire on the deceased and abducted some family members to an unknown location.

In response to the incident, DSP Josephine Adeh, spokesperson for the FCT Police Command, said in a statement that its control room received a distress call at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, and the information was then relayed to the Bwari Division.

“Upon sighting the officers the hoodlums took to their heels having shot one Benjamin Ogundare and abducted the duo of Goodluck Ogundare and Janet Ogundare.

“The victim was rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead by a doctor on call. Aggressive manhunt and rescue mission has been launched on the tails of the hoodlums while the investigation continues”.

While the investigation is ongoing, an aggressive manhunt and rescue mission has been launched on the trail of the hoodlums by the FCT Police Command.
