….Intensifies discreet investigation to fish them out
Enugu State Police Operatives serving in New Haven Division on Friday, 16th June 2023 recovered one double-barreled locally fabricated gun with one live and expended cartridges each, from escaping armed robbery suspects, at New Artisan Bridge, off Enugu/Port-Harcourt Expressway.
According to a press release signed by Enugu State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, said that the hoodlums abandoned the firearm with the ammunition on sighting the operatives, who immediately went on their trail, following the receipt of credible information that the miscreants were sighted in the location perfecting their criminal plans.
Meanwhile, discreet investigative actions to fish out the fleeing criminal elements are underway. Further development shall be communicated.
