In a press release issued by the FCT Police Command Public Relations Officer, DSP Josephine Adeh, ANIPR, Mipra, she said that Mrs. Patience Gbileve, the mother of the allegedly missing thirteen years old Chivirter Gbileve had taken her sons for a “back-to-school shopping “ when Chivirter Gbileve who had initially expressed resistance in returning to school took advantage of his mother’s distraction while shopping, excused himself to the rest room, changed from the uniform he was wearing to civil wear and absconded.

According to the Command spokesperson, she said that Chivirter Gbileve was apprehended by the Police surveillance team attached to the Garki Divisional Police Headquarters and thereafter reunited with his family.

“The Police have commenced an investigation into what could have prompted the child’s refusal in going back to school to such extent as playing naughty, she said.

Recall that when Mrs. Patience Gbileve went to the Sahad shopping centers in Area 11, Abuja, to purchase some items, her kid vanished from the store, and the news quickly went viral on social media.
