Chairman, National Hajj Commission, NAHCON, Alhaji Zikrullahi Hassan has tasked the Saudi Arabia Authorities on Hajj Affairs known as Mutawifs to ensure prompt information dissemination to enable African Hajj Mission to strategize and prepare appropriately for the 2023 Hajj exercise.
Hassan made this call while speaking at the closing ceremony for 1443. A.H Hajj season organized by Company of Mutawifs for Pilgrims from Non – Arab Countries held at Bader Grand Hall, Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
NAHCON Helmsman spoke on behalf of all Hajj Missions in Africa and stated that prompt and quick release of the information would enable Hajj Missions to strategize which would have a meaningful impact on Hajj preparations and arrangements for African Pilgrims of Non- Arab Countries.
In his words ” Providing us with essential information will enable us to effectively put in place all required arrangements in good time and with relative ease” he said.
NAHCON Chairman decried access to getting vital information relating to Hajj duties on the social media news platforms and unverified News Channels appealing to the Mutawifs to make accurate information available officially. He said the Online signing of the Memorandum of Understanding MOU which signifies the commencement of Hajj activities should be reviewed urging the Mutawifs to bring the issue to the notice of the Council to accord it the seriousness it deserves.
While appreciating the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques His Royal Highness, King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Highness the Crown Prince, Muhammad Bin Salma for the dedication to serving the Guests of Allah despite the challenges involved.
Earlier, the Chairman of the Board, Ahmed Sindi assured all that next year’s Hajj will be an improvement for 2022 Hajj operations.
He said that the Ministry of Hajj has restructured vital areas of Hajj services to improve them.
“We aim to make Pilgrims happy, we will assemble youths with good ideas and initiative to serve pilgrims, reward any one of them that makes one Pilgrims happy will be rewarded accordingly” he added.
