While acknowledging the immense economic challenges facing the state and country, the Governor warns shylock market men and women against arbitrary hike in the prices of their commodities during or after the Ramadan fast as it is against Islamic teachings.
The Governor felicitates with the Muslim Faithful for witnessing yet another Ramadan fast and prayed that the lessons and blessings of the Holy Month will be internalized so that it positively affects our attitude and promotes greater commitment to peace and unity of the country.
He also called on the Muslim Faithful to pray for an end to the prevailing security challenges in the country, assuring that government will continue to do its best in securing the lives and property of the citizens.
