…Urges Him to Prepare to Handover Reins of power to Tonye Cole
…Says all his rigging plots will collapse on March 18
….Commends Amaechi, Tonye Cole for their strategic meetings with the Northern, Igbo, and Yoruba communities, and others in Rivers State.
Erstwhile National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New People’s Democratic Party (nPDP) and Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze says comments credited to Gov. Wike last weekend when he visited Egbeda in Emohua Local Government Area confirms that the outgoing Governor has drifted deep in chimera and his resuscitation depends on the victory of APC’s Tonye Cole on Saturday, March 18.
Wike had during an event in Emohua, begged voters to choose Sir Siminialayi Fubara, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Over Tonye Cole whom he described as divisive and urged Rivers voters to steer clear of him saying that any attempt to elect him would stall his ongoing prosecution for allegedly defrauding Rivers of $50m.
Reacting to the Governor’s claim, Chief Eze said no amount of blackmail from a notorious motormouth will stop the victory of Pst. Tonye Cole and the Assembly candidates of the APC across the 32 constituencies of the state on March 18, and called on the Governor to try a bit harder to braze up to reality.
He said having roundly been defeated in a floodgate of schemes to stop the APC from fielding candidates in the elections, the Governor cooked a cocktail around the sale of some state-owned assets all of which sale was done in line with extant laws, just to taint the image of former Governor, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi and Rivers preferred Governorship Candidate, Pst. Tonye Cole.
Eze urged Rivers people to disregard Wike’s baseless allegation against Pst. Cole, notes that the charge against him and Amaechi is a mere paperweight that lacks the necessary ingredients needed to sustain the prosecution.
He called on the public to be wary of Wike and his factional Governorship Candidate, Mr. Siminialayi Fubara, who has been on the run for months after the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) declared him wanted for defrauding the state of over N400 billion, stressing that an alleged thief should not be left to oversee the treasury of Rivers State.
Eze further hinted that the alleged fraudster and Wike’s PDP guber candidate, Mr. Siminialayi Fubara has a pending case bothering on fraud before the Code of Conduct where he has severally turned down the bureau’s invitation on the orders of the Governor under whose immunity he has been taking cover.
The party Chief commended former Transformation Minister, Gov. Rotimi Amaechi, and Pst. Tonye Cole for holding interactive sessions with the Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba, and other communities in Rivers State.
Eze, a member of the APC Legacy Projects Media Team commended the Rivers State women, students, youths, and elders for resolving to ensure that Wike and his misguided group are shown the way out of Brick House come March 18th, 2023 and to the Glory of God we will surely celebrate the defeat of the worst government that ever came our way in Rivers State no matter the odds
He called on Gov. Wike to begin to put together his handover notes as the APC puts the finishing touches on the preparation for an all-inclusive, pro- people’s government to be headed by Pst. Tonye Cole of the All Progressives Congress.
