Screening Of Police Constables Begins February 1 – FCT PPRO

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has requested all candidates who successfully completed their online recruitment registration in the ongoing 2021 recruitment exercise into the NPF (Police Constables), to appear for physical and credential screening.

A statement by FCT Police Command Public Relations Officer, DSP Adeh Josephine, ANIPR said, “The screening will be kick starting from 800hrs daily, at the FCT Police Command conference hall Block B, FCT Police Command Headquarters, No. 1 Zaria street Garki 2, Abuja. Below is a schedule of the various screening dates against their respective Area councils;

Tuesday 1st February, 2022

Abuja Municipal

Wednesday, 2nd February, 2022


Thursday, 3rd February 2022


Friday, 4th February 2022

“Consequently, all applicants are to proceed to the screening venue  as specified above, appearing in their clean white T-shirts and shorts, with nose mask as all Covid19 protocols will be strictly adhered to. Applicants are also expected to come along with the following mandatory basic screening requirements, neatly arranged in two white flat files with recent passport photographs attached:

  • National Identity Number (NIN);’
  • Original and duplicate copies of credentials – O’ Level Result(s), Certificate of Origin and Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age;
  • Printout of application submission confirmation/profile page
  • Duly completed Guarantor’s form

The Police said, “Any candidate who fails to present (i –iv) above, will not be considered for screening.

The FCT Commissioner of Police, Sunday Babaji also stressed that the screening exercise is absolutely free of charge at all levels, warning criminal elements at both perpetrating and receiving ends to take heed as serious sanctions will be meted on those found wanting.
