Immediate past Governor of Bayelsa State and Senator representing Bayelsa West Senatorial District in the 9th Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson joined eminent Nigerians in Lagos on Saturday, 5th of March, 2022 to celebrate with former Nigerian President, Olusegun Obasanjo at the prestigious Lagos Marriott Hotel where he marked his 85th birthday party.
Speaking about the event on his verified Facebook page, Senator Seriake Dickson said, “Yesterday, I was at the Marriott Hotel in Ikeja Lagos to attend a dinner in honor of our respected father, leader and mentor, His Excellency, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, (GCFR) former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as he marked his 85th birthday”.
Senator Dickson further said that, the gathering afforded him the opportunity of meeting and exchanging pleasantries with very many friends and colleagues, some of whom he had not seen for a long time on account of the pandemic.
Senator Dickson had earlier in a press release to felicitate with the former Nigerian President said, he joined his countless admirers and members of his immediate family of which he considered himself to be one, to pray to God to continue to keep Obasanjo in good health.
He again, wished Baba OBJ a happy birthday and many happy returns on behalf of himself and his family.
