Tarakiri Youth Forum Drums More Support For Dickson

…VOW TO PURCHASE EXPRESSION OF INTEREST AND NOMINATION FORM HIM.

A group, under the auspices of TARAKIRI Youths Forum, has vowed to purchase the People Democratic Party (PDP) Senatorial Expression of Interest and Nomination Form for the immediate past Governor of Bayelsa State Barr. Seriake Henry Dickson

The Coordinator of the group, Hon. Ebikebina Akpe, made the statement while addressing newsmen in Yenagoa the state capital.

“Our reason for embarking on this project is based on the recognition of the fact that Barr. Seriake Dickson layed a solid foundation for a better Bayelsa and there is need to consolidate on the gains he made.

“That was why TYF has been in the forefront, calling on the former Governor to contest for the Senate; in order to consolidate on the good works he has done.”

Akpe said that, Barr. Dickson who was Legal Adviser, to Ijaw National Congress, one time Attorney-General of Bayelsa State, Chaired many Committees and Co-chaired others and sponsored several peoples oriented Bills at the National Assembly has vast experience with robust contributions on national issues.

“As a governor, Dickson performed wonders, from building durable roads to providing affordable housing and qualitative healthcare, created amazing opportunities for our young ones, in providing them with gainful employment including numerous achievements in education, health, judiciary, agriculture among other critical sectors.

“It is for this reason that we have decided to pull our meagre resources together to purchase the Senatorial Expression of Interest and Nomination Form for Barr. Dickson as he has presents himself as the most qualified to represent both the senatorial zone and the Ijaw nation at this point in time.

“Our members, from the various Ward’s that made up the Tarakiri Kingdom, contributed to make this happen. Any day, any time the date for sales of forms is out, we will go straight to the party Secretariat and purchase the form for the Great White Shark. Akpe added.
