Delta State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has not fixed any date for Local Government Council elections and has not released any purported details for Local Government Council Elections in the State.
This was disclosed by the Delta State PDP Publicity Secretary, Dr. Ifeanyi M. Osuoza, on Saturday, 30th December 2023.
“The Delta State PDP Chairman did not and has not signed any notice giving details for the conduct of Local Government Council elections in the State, Dr. Osuoza said.
The statement read “Deltans and the general public are, by this disclaimer, therefore advised and urged to dismiss and disregard a post going around on social media claiming that the Delta PDP Chairman signed a notice with dates and details for the conduct of Local Government Council elections.
“The dates and details for the conduct of the Local Government Council elections in the State will be communicated to Deltans and the general public through the proper communication channels of the party in due course.
“Please disregard any FAKE NOTICE going around as regards the conduct of Local Government Council elections in the State.
