Hon. Sampson Egop who spoke on behalf of the delegation expressed the sympathy of members of the party to the bereaved family. Egop prayed that the Lord would grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

In his response, Dr Davies thanked his colleagues for their show of love and described his elder sister as a pillar of strength during her life time.

In a related development, members of Ward 2 in the Port Harcourt City Local Government Area have expressed their readiness to work with the Caretaker Committee in order to forge a strong and united party.

Chief Emeka Edeh, a candidate for the House of Assembly in 2019 said as hosts of the State Party Secretariat they were proud to be associated with the extent of progress that has been made despite the diversionary efforts of their son, Hon. Igo Aguma.

Urging Hon Aguma to abandon his fight against the party’s mainstream, members of PHALGA Ward 2 reiterated their loyalty to the Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi.

They added that members of the ward were not in support of the moves by their son to destabilize the APC in Rivers State.
