The Delta PDP Campaign Council has thanked Deltans for the faithfulness and support they displayed to deliver Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori and Sir Monday Onyeme, as the next Governor and Deputy Governor of Delta State.
According to a statement on Tuesday, 21st March 2023 signed by the Deputy Director, Media & Publicity, Delta PDP Campaign Council/ State Publicity Secretary, Delta State PDP, Dr. Ifeanyi Osuoza, said that the Party was indeed overwhelmed by the unanimous endorsement Deltans gave the PDP, with the victorious emergence of its candidates in the elections across the State Constituencies, thereby confirming, securing, ensuring, and consolidating its majority of legislators, in the next House of Assembly.
“Thank you Deltans for the massive show of love, trust, and confidence you reposed in us and our pledge and promises, by giving us your unshakable mandate to do MORE for our people.

Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Monday declared the governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori, as the winner of last Saturday’s election.
Oborevwori who is the current Speaker of the state House of Assembly polled 360,234 votes to defeat the candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege.
