IGP Sets To Commission New Model Stations, Barracks In Kogi, Kwara

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba another set of modern police stations, barracks and other vital police buildings in Kogi and Kwara State respectively.

Also, the IGP will lay the foundation for New Mobile Base in Kogi State.

The modern police stations are part of the efforts of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba efforts to fight crimes and criminality via improved morale-boosting welfare packages and anti-crime psychology of officers, as well as offer policing services in conformity with international best practices.

Recalled that the Inspector General of Police in the month October commissioned various model Police Stations and residential buildings in the Kurudu area of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Birnin Yero, Zangon AYA, and Makarfi Division of Kaduna State respectively

The commissioning is in continuation of the ongoing unveiling of the welfare and modern policing projects executed by the present police leadership under the command of IGP Usman Alkali Baba.

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba has completed the construction of over 198 projects including more than 120 modern police stations, barracks, and other vital police buildings around the country since he was appointed the IGP.
