Investigation Is Still Ongoing On CCT Chairman Assault At Bannex – Police

The FCT Police Command has reiterated that discreet investigation is still on-going following the incident of alleged assault involving the CCT Chairman and a security guard that occurred at Bannex Plaza on Monday March 29th,2021,

In a press release on Saturday, 3^rd April, 2021 signed by the FCT Police Command Public Relations Officer, ASP Yusuf Mariam, she said that the Commissioner of Police CP. Bala Ciroma has assured members of the public that the Command will be professional, fair and thorough in its investigation.

“Furthermore, the Command urges residents to remain calm and allow the law takes its cause, the statement concluded.

A video clip which has since gone viral, had shown Mr Umar kicking and slapping a 22-year-old security guard, Clement Sargwak, following an altercation that ensued between them over the space where the CCT chairman parked his car on the premises of Banex Plaza in Wuse, Abuja, on Monday.
