Stakeholders of All Progressives Congress ( APC) in Nasarawa Local government Area of the State, has passed a vote of confidence on the administration of Gov. Sule over his quality leadership style in the state.
Hajiya (Dr) Hajara Danyaro, Special Adviser to Gov Sule on Special Education stated this at a stakeholders meeting in Nasarawa, Headquarter of Nasarawa local government area of the state on Monday.
Sha said, “the stakeholders said, that the vote of confidence passed on the governor was evident on the governor’s purposeful leadership and people’s oriented projects in the state.
“The meeting unanimously passed a vote of confidence on his Excellency, Gov. Abdullahi Sule,’’ Hajiya Danyaro said.
The Special Adviser added that the party at the meeting also lauded the leadership of the Governor for involving the party in his administration.
She said the party also expressed satisfaction with the tremendous strides the administration had achieved so far.
“In about two years, he has made a lot of impact on the administration of the state. On the overall development of the state, he has also made a lot of impacts.
“He has made a lot of impact in all sectors. We express our gratitude and encourage him to continue in that direction,’’ She added.
Hajiya Danyaro said the people of the area are happy with the way and manner the governor has handled the security challenges bedeviling the area and the state at large.
She how ever, lauded the governor’s effort in curtailing security challenges in the area, saying, “with his effort people can now go to bed with their two eyes closed”
According to the Special Adviser, party stalwarts also acknowledged with gratitude the cordial relationship between Gov. Abdullahi Sule and his predecessor, Sen. Umaru Al-Makura, who currently represents Nasarawa South Senatorial District at the Senate.
The governor’s aide said that the achievements recorded so far by the governor has improved and would continue to improve on the lives of the people of the state.
She noted that she organised the meeting in an effort to drum support for the governor to succeed beyond 2023.
” The achievements recorded so far by the present administration under the leadership of His Excellency, Gov. Abdullahi Sule are enormous which include, roads, schools and water projects in the local government area and the state at large.
” I have decided to call for this meeting to enable us discuss how to move the party forward in our local government and how to ensure the success of His Excellency, Gov. Abdullahi Sule beyond 2023.
” His Excellency is being up and doing in embarking on good projects that will have direct bearing on our people and other people of the state.
” We need to continue to mobilise support for him to succeed and to people to continue to enjoy more dividends of democracy,” she said.
She also called on the people of the state and Nigerians to give pray for President Muahmmadu Buhari and Gov. Abdullahi Sule’s administrations to succeed.
On his part, the former speaker, Nasarawa state House of Assembly, Alhaji Musa Ahmed-Mohammed, said the meeting was timely considering the effort the state government is making towards developing the State.
He has also called for support to enable the governor succeed.
The former speaker commended Danyaro for initiating the meeting, saying that it would move the party to the greater height in the area and the state at large.
Another stakeholder, who is a former chairmanship aspirant of Nasarawa local government area, Mr Adamu Obagu also drummed support for Gov.Sule to succeed beyond 2023.
It would be recalled that the meeting had in attendance, ten critical stakeholders each from (15) electoral Wards in Nasarawa Local government area.( NAN)
