The Governor -elect of Osun state , Senator Ademola Adeleke has predicted landslide victory in 2023 for the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, describing the presidential candidate as a detribalised leader with entire country as his constituency.
According to a press release on Wednesday, 13th September2022 signed by Spokesperson to the Governor-Elect, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, he said that Adeleke, in a statement to welcome Alhaji Abubakar to the South Western part of the country, noted that the flagbearer is a man of many parts with footprints across North, West and Eastern parts of Nigeria, affirming that “our President in waiting is truly a Mr Nigeria.
“From your career in the public service to your era in the business sector and your Vice Presidency of Nigeria, you demonstrated unique qualities as a leader of all people who is fixated on competency, equity and fairness. For us in Yorubaland, you are our dear in -law. Your tour of South West is therefore an homecoming”, the Governor- elect stated.
Commending the agenda and maturity of the PDP candidate , Adeleke lauded the ongoing political and diplomatic efforts to expand and strengthen the PDP ahead of next election, predicting that PDP will win with huge margins in February.
“The national pendulum is swinging in favour of the PDP as all indicators confirm the readiness of Nigerians to return PDP to power. The adoption of polling unit as focus of campaign and mobilisation is a workable template which we adopted with positive results in our July elections.
“We are therefore elated that with the campaign strategy unfolded by the party’s National Executive Committee, the pro-people agenda of our candidate and the renewed love of Nigerians for PDP, victory is guaranteed come 2023”, Senator Adeleke concluded.
