The Urhobo Progressive Union (UPU), has joined the rest of the country to mourn the loss and painful transition of its beloved father, a great son of the Urhobo nation, senior petroleum engineer, patriot, and titan in the oil and gas sector, Mr Monday Ovuede.
This information was made known through a press release by the Urhobo Progressive Union (UPU), Oil and Gas Technical Committee, and was signed by Sonia Ohwojero, PRO on behalf of the Executive Committee.
“With great sadness, Urhobo Progressive Union (UPU) Oil and Gas Technical Committee regretfully joins the nation to mourn the loss and painful transition of our beloved father, a great son of the Urhobo nation, senior petroleum engineer, patriot, and titan in the oil and gas sector, Mr Monday Ovuede.
“Until his death, Mr. Monday Ovuede was the Director of Chevron Corporation’s joint venture with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) – NNPCL/CNLJV.
The UPU, Oil and Gas Technical Committee said it was proud of a life so beautifully lived by Monday Ovuede and that it deserves to be beautifully remembered. They added that his over two decades of sterling and professional services in the oil and gas sector produced high-quality innovations, breakthroughs, and successes.
